Italian football journalist and Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to praise several Inter players and the team as a whole off the back of their back to back wins against Sassuolo and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Inter had been on a poor run of form up until the weekend but comfortably beat Sassuolo 3-0 away from home and proceeded to beat Borussia Monchengladbach 3-2 in their penultimate UEFA Champions League group stage match last night in Germany.

Many of the players and media reports in the past few days have labelled the two games as games that could represent turning points in the season for the Nerazzurri.

“Inter did an Inter. That is what is expected from a great team with real champions (Lukaku, Barella, Lautaro, Brozovic).

“They beat Sassuolo and Borussia, lesser teams, with two convincing performances in terms of play and concentration. So good,” Ravezzani posted.

Thanks to their recent wins, Inter are sitting second in the Serie A table after nine games played and whilst still bottom of their UEFA Champions League group, they still stand a chance at progression to the knockout stage.
