Arturo Vidal will replace Nicolo Barella in the Inter starting line-up for this weekend’s Serie A match versus Bologna according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Vidal missed Inter’ UEFA Champions League group stage win over Borussia Monchengladbach earlier on this week due to suspension but will replace Barella, who is suffering from a calf problem, and allow the Italian national team midfielder to be given some much needed rest.

The Inter midfield versus Bologna should consist of Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini, unless Inter manager Antonio Conte opts to bring Christian Eriksen back into the fold although the chances of that happening are really low.

The report goes on to add that Danilo D’Ambrosio will come back into the starting line-up as well and will take the place of one of the central defenders.

Achraf Hakimi and Ivan Perisic will meanwhile come in at right wing-back and left wing-back respectively. Alexis Sanchez will also replace one of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez in the attack.
