Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella may not start this weekend’s Serie A match at home to Bologna according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Barella was suffering from slight fatigue in Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League group stage win over Borussia Monchengladbach and for this reason he could be given an opportunity to rest on Saturday when the Nerazzurri play host to the Rossoblu.

In all likelihood, Arturo Vidal, who missed the Borussia Monchengladbach match due to suspension, will come into the starting line-up in place of the former Cagliari player.

The report from Sky Sport Italia goes on to add that it is possible that one of Inter’s starting strikers, Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, could also be given a chance to rest. If the decision is taken to rest one of them, Alexis Sanchez will be the player who comes in.
