The match official appointments for the coming round of Serie A action have been announced today with Paolo Valeri assigned to referee Inter’s match at home to Bologna.

The 42-year-old, who has been a referee in Serie A since 2007, has refereed five matches across all competitions to date this term, one of which was Bologna’s 4-1 win versus Parma on match day two of the 2020/21 Serie A season. In the five matches he has refereed thus far this term, he has handed out 21 yellow cards and two red cards.

Marco Bresmes and Fabiano Preti will be Valeri’s assistants at San Siro whilst Maurizio Mariani will fulfil the fourth official role.

Massimiliano Irrati has been assigned to take charge of VAR and will have Alessandro Lo Cicero alongside to assist him in the match between the Nerazzurri and Rossoblu.

Inter head into this weekend sitting in second place in the Serie A table after nine games played whilst Bologna are currently sitting in 10th place.
