Inter have an interest in signing Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud but are also studying some alternatives to the Frenchman according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik is one of the alternatives under consideration and would represent a choice both for the present and the future.

Milik is seeking a contract worth €6 million a year and could be a replacement for Lautaro Martinez in the event that he leaves the club.

Napoli are wanting €18 million for the Polish national team player despite the fact his contract expires at the end of the season. The report does however highlight that Napoli are due to pay Inter that same amount for Matteo Politano.

As things currently stand, Inter manager Antonio Conte has a preference for Giroud over Milik. One of the reasons for this is tactical and the other is physical seeing as Giroud has been playing this season unlike Milik, who has not played whatsoever.
