Inter have identified Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul as the player they want to bring in to strengthen their midfield according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was broadcast a short time ago.

Inter intend to test the ground with Udinese for de Paul but before doing that, a few situations need to be resolved, namely those of Radja Nainggolan, Christian Eriksen and Matias Vecino.

Nainggolan, except for surprises, will not stay at Inter past the end of the January transfer window, Eriksen will ask to leave the club and the club are ready to satisfy his demands whilst Vecino could be an important pawn in a potential trade with Napoli that would see Inter acquire Arkadiusz Milik to bolster their attack.

Inter have been linked with signing de Paul for a considerable amount of time and multiple reports elsewhere in the media have stated that the Bianconeri club want in excess of €30 million to part ways with him,
