Inter coach Antonio Conte is rotating the squad for today’s game against Bologna, ahead of next week’s vital Champions League clash against Shakhtar Donetsk, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 51-year-old Italian coach is planning to rest Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella, Argentine forward Lautaro Martinez and Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij against the Rossoblu this evening, wanting the trio in perfect condition next week.

Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez and Italian defender Andrea Ranocchia will fill in for the trio respectively, the report continues, with Achraf Hakimi and Ivan Perisic on the wings.

Inter are currently second in the league table after nine games and are five points behind rivals AC Milan, meaning a win against Bologna tonight is a must to keep on the pressure.

In the Champions League, the Nerazzurri are bottom of their group with five points, and must win against the Ukrainian side if they want to progress to the next stage.
