Inter Defender Andrea Ranocchia To Start Against Bologna Tonight, Italian Media Suggest

Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia will start against Bologna tonight, as coach Antonio Conte looks to secure a vital three points, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 32-year-old Italian defender, whose contract expires with the Nerazzurri at the end of the season, will be given his fourth start this season against the Rossoblu this evening.

Ranocchia has proven to be a strong professional and an important defensive option for Conte when he rotates the defense.

The wing backs will be Achraf Hakimi and Ivan Perisic, the report continues, although Italian Matteo Darmian could take over from the Moroccan if Conte chooses to be a little more defensive.

Lautaro Martinez will be rested in place of Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.

Probable Inter line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Andrea Ranocchia, Alessandro Bastoni; Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal, Marcelo Brozovic, Roberto Gagliardini, Ivan Perisic; Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez.
