Inter Forward Alexis Sanchez Hoping To Score 3rd Consecutive League Goal Against Bologna Tonight

Inter forward Alexis Sanchez is hoping to score in his third consecutive league game, for the first time since November 2017, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 31-year-old Chilean forward, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, scored against Torino a couple of weeks ago and then Sassuolo last weekend, finally finding his form after a slow start to the season.

The last time that Sanchez scored in three consecutive league games was for Arsenal in November 2017. The Chilean netted against Tottenham, Burney and Huddersfield, helping the Gunners achieve the maximum nine points from those games.

The new Sanchez is less of a striker and more of a trequartista, where he has proven to be very effective under coach Antonio Conte.

The 31-year-old will line up alongside Romelu Lukaku against the Rossoblu tonight, hoping to net his third of the season. He has also provided three assists across his 11 appearances this campaign.
