Inter are looking for their third win in a row against Bologna tonight, hoping the game can kickstart an important cycle for the team, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the loss against the Rossoblu last season in July spelled the end of the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto dreams, but it did kick off a streak of 11 results that led the team to the Europa League final.

Inter are hoping that a similar cycle can be started today, although with a win this time and not a loss. Their next game is a vital Champions League clash against Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Milanese club cannot afford to lose that game if they want to progress in the competition, considering that they’re currently bottom of their Champions League group after five games.

In the league, the Nerazzurri are second, five points behind league leaders AC Milan.
