Inter’s rivals Juventus could come under investigation regarding Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez and his Italian language test, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici and lawyer Maria Turco are being looked at regarding their involvement in Suarez’s Italian language test in Perugia ahead of a failed move to the Turin based club.

Juventus risks breaking Articles 4 and 32 of the Sports Justice Code for their involvement in the case, the report highlights.

Article 4 is the old article 1, reminding all clubs to observe the “principles of loyalty, fairness and probity, in every relationship however applicable to the sporting activity.”

Article 32, which was introduced after the Passport City scandal, is instead a sports crime and punishes those who “directly or attempt to perform or that others perform acts aimed at obtaining certificates or documents of citizenship false or otherwise altered in order to evade the rules.”

Breaking Article 4 results in four possible punishments, with three of those being fines and warnings, and the last being a point penalty.

Breaking Article 32 is more serious, as in addition to a point penalty there is also the risk of relegation or exclusion from the league, although these are in extreme cases.
