A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has highlighted a missed penalty for Inter in yesterday’s win over Bologna.

The report details how, in the 50th minute, 36-year-old Rossoblu centre back Danilo Larangeira fouled Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku in the penalty area whilst the pair were contesting a ball.

The Brazilian defender almost kicked the former Manchester United forward from behind as he unbalanced him, a definite penalty that was missed by the referee.

Lukaku, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has made 13 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 969 minutes.

In that time, he has scored 12 goals and provided two assists, carrying over his strong form from last season.

Inter’s win means that they have returned to second in the league table after 10 games, two points behind leaders and local rivals AC Milan who face Sampdoria this evening.
