Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen has hardly featured for the side since the last international break, waiting to leave in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 28-year-old Danish midfielder, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2024, has only played three times since the last international break, for a total of 10 minutes. He has only played in the dying minutes of the game, clearly on the fringes of the project.

The former Tottenham midfielder was again brought on by coach Antonio Conte in the dying minutes of yesterday’s win over Bologna, and after the final whistle instantly disappeared into the dressing room, not celebrating with his teammates.

Eriksen seems destined to leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window and Inter are already looking for replacements, with a defensive midfielder seemingly the priority.
