Aleksandar Kolarov To Be Back In Inter Squad For Match With Shakhtar Donetsk, Italian Media Report

Aleksandar Kolarov will make a return to the Inter squad for tomorrow night’s final UEFA Champions League group stage match at home to Shakhtar Donetsk according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The experienced Serbian national team defender has missed just about an entire month due to injury and due to having to deal with COVID-19 but he has now recovered from injury and COVID-19 and can therefore be back involved.

The report from the Rome based news outlet does however not give any indication as to whether or not Kolarov could play tomorrow against the Ukrainian side, who Inter have to beat to stand any chance of qualification to the next round.

The 35-year-old, who joined Inter from Roma for a nominal fee in the most recent transfer window, has made six appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist for his Nerazzurri teammates.
