Arturo Vidal has a great desire to play in tomorrow’s UEFA Champions League group stage match versus Shakhtar Donetsk according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Vidal is regarded as a serious doubt for the game due to a thigh injury which he sustained in the win over Bologna at the weekend but as per this report, he would be prepared to grit his teeth and play.
Inter’s medical staff are to examine him today to definitively clarify his situation and the report insists that it would be a great risk to field him against the Ukrainians, as much as he may wish to play, even if only able to play on one leg.
