Christian Eriksen is to be handed a start in tomorrow night’s UEFA Champions League group stage match at home to Shakhtar Donetsk according to a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder has been treated poorly in recent weeks by Inter manager Antonio Conte who has only given him a few minutes at the end of games but Eriksen is to be given the chance to show what he is capable of from the first minute due to injuries to Nicolo Barella and Arturo Vidal, which will keep them out of the match.

The report goes on to add that Achraf Hakimi and Ashley Young are the current favourites to start at right wing-back and left wing-back respectively amid competition from other players.
