Inter remain interested in signing Barcelona defender Junior Firpo according to a report from the online edition of Spanish daily newspaper Sport.

Barcelona are looking to offload several players with Firpo among them and his next destination could well be Inter, who showed an interest in signing him during the last transfer window.

As per this report, Inter are on the hunt for a new left wing-back and would be open to taking Firpo on a six month loan deal or an 18 month long loan deal with an option to buy attached.

The 24-year-old, who also drew links to Inter’s fellow Serie A clubs Atalanta and Napoli, has barely featured this season with him having made just one league appearance and five appearances across all competitions to date overall.

In just shy of 200 minutes, Firpo, who is contracted to the Blaugrana club until 2024, has failed to make any goal contributions.
