Fiorentina knocked back an offer for central defender Nikola Milenkovic during the most recent Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere Fiorentino.

As per this report, La Viola refused an offer worth €25 million from Premier League club West Ham United for Milenkovic, who has long been linked with a potential move to both Inter and AC Milan.

The report from the Florence based news outlet goes on to state that if the Serbian national team player does not agree to a contract renewal then Fiorentina will look to move him on in the coming Summer in order to avoid losing him for nothing the following Summer.

The 23-year-old, who came through the ranks of Partizan Belgrade and joined Fiorentina in 2017, has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In just over 1100 minutes on the field, he has contributed two goals and one assist.
