Noted Italian football journalist and Italian broadcaster TeleLombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to express his thoughts on the attitude displayed by Inter manager Antonio Conte following last night’s UEFA Champions League goalless draw with Shakhtar Donetsk.

As a consequence of drawing with the Ukrainian club, Inter were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the group stage for the third consecutive season and this time round they finished bottom of their group which was the first time in Inter’s history that that had happened.

After the match Conte ended up in a heated discussion with Sky Sport Italia pundit Fabio Capello and also snapped at reporters by offering them the chance to take charge of Inter when they questioned him.

“A coach has every right to be tense after such a debacle but not to be offensive to someone who asks a legitimate question in a polite way. Also from this lack of balance under stress it is clear that something is wrong with Conte when the level rises,” Ravezzani posted.

Conte is into his second year in charge of Inter and has roughly 18 months left to run on his contract. He has won 39 of his 69 matches in charge.
