Following the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League group stage last night, Transfermarkt have compiled a team made up of the highest valued players who will be missing out on the next stage of the competition due to their respective teams being eliminated.

The team is almost filled entirely by Inter and Manchester United players with Inter and Manchester United players making up nine of the 11 players in the team with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana (€36 million) and highly rated Rennes central midfielder Eduardo Camavinga (€50 million) being the only two exceptions to this.

Inter quintet Romelu Lukaku (€85 million), Lautaro Martinez (€70 million), Stefan de Vrij (€60 million), Achraf Hakimi (€50 million) and Alessandro Bastoni (€45 million) are all included in the team.

Manchester United quartet Marcus Rashford (€80 million), Bruno Fernandes (€80 million), Paul Pogba (€80 million) and Harry Maguire (€50 million) complete the team put together by Transfermarkt which has a total value of no less than €686 million.
