Inter have finished bottom of a group in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history in this season’s edition of the competition, sports data and analytics company Opta have highlighted.

Inter managed to pick up just six points from a possible 18 points available to them in group B which also contained Real Madrid, Borussia Monchengladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk. Inter won just one of their six games, drew three and lost the other three.
