Alexis Sanchez is currently the favourite to partner Romelu Lukaku in the Inter attack for their Serie A match away to Cagliari this weekend according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, which was broadcast a short time ago.
The Chilean national team player lost his place in the starting line-up in Wednesday’s goalless draw versus Shakhtar Donetsk in the final UEFA Champions League group stage game but could find himself back among the starters when Inter face off against Cagliari at the Sardegna Arena on Sunday afternoon, with kick off scheduled for 12:30 local time.
The report from the broadcaster goes on to explain that Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni will all retain their places in the starting line-up, contrary to other reports which have stated there could be some changes.
Matteo Darmian and Ivan Perisic are meanwhile the favourites to start at right wing-back and left wing-back over Achraf Hakimi and Ashley Young respectively.
