Cagliari are ready to go back in for Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Unlike in the Summer transfer window, the conditions for a deal to be done will be more favourable this season with Inter to reduce their demands for the Belgian midfielder, who already reached a contract agreement with Cagliari in the Summer.
It is clear that Nainggolan is on the sidelines of the Inter project and that his time with Inter seems to be over therefore a transfer could be healthy for both the player and the club.
Finding an agreement could be less complicated but the repot from the Milan based news outlet goes on to concludes that negotiations promise to be a tussle and a deal being reached cannot be taken for granted.
This season Nainggolan has been limited to five substitute appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has failed to make any goal contributions.
