Christian Eriksen is likely to leave Inter next month according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

The Danish national team attacking midfielder has had a nightmare spell with the Nerazzurri club, who he arrived at last January from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

As per this report, the 28-year-old former Ajax player will either leave the club on a permanent basis or he could leave the club on a loan basis, waiting to understand what will happen in June.

The report from La Repubblica goes on to highlight that Inter will not make any large investments in the upcoming transfer window, especially given their elimination from the UEFA Champions League and European football entirely this season in the past few days.

Inter missed out on at least €10 million by being eliminated in the group stage, money that was much needed at this time.
