RB Salzburg’s Dominik Szoboszlai is set to make a January transfer window switch to RB Leipzig according to a report from German broadcaster Sky Sport Deutschland.

As per the report, a deal is close to being agreed between the two clubs who fall under the Red Bull football group umbrella and the two clubs hope to be able to announce that it is a done deal before Christmas.

The report explains that only the final details and signatures are required but all parties involved are in agreement over the transfer of Szoboszlai from Austrian Bundesliga side RB Salzburg to German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

The highly rated Hungarian national team player has a €25 million release clause in his current contract and he has been linked with a whole array of clubs with this report mentioning Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Many other reports have linked both Inter and AC Milan with him but all of these clubs appear set to miss out.
