Inter manager Antonio Conte is considering resting a number of players for this weekend’s Serie A match away to Cagliari according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
As per this report, Conte is thinking about resting Achraf Hakimi, Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez for the match against the Sardinian club.
If Conte does indeed decide to rest the above trio then the repot from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that Matteo Darmian, Christian Eriksen and Alexis Sanchez will come in in their places respectively.
Ivan Perisic is currently considered the favourite to start at left wing-back over Ashley Young. Radja Nainggolan will return to the substitutes bench whilst Matias Vecino, Andrea Pinamonti and Arturo Vidal will all miss out.
