Hellas Verona midfielder Mattia Zaccagni’s agent Fausto Pari has revealed that there are many clubs who are keeping tabs on his client at this present moment.

Serie A trio Inter, Napoli and Lazio have all been linked with the 25-year-old in recent weeks by various media outlets in Italy.

“Mattia is performing consistently, last year he had already shown what he is capable of and maybe now he is confirming himself at these high levels. He is consolidating his talent, let’s see where he can get to,” he explained in an interview with Italian news outlet Calcio Napoli 24 Live.

Pari was then asked which teams are interested in signing his client to which he responded: “We should ask Verona. Many teams are paying attention to him, I presume there is also Napoli. We will see what happens in the future.”

Next Pari spoke on the kind of player he thinks his client is: “I consider him to be a Mezzala. Under Juric he has been moved further forward and has to perform less defensive tasks but for me he can play in any role.”

In conclusion Pari was asked about his client’s contract with Hellas Verona, which is due to expire at the end of next season.

“At the end of the season we will do some evaluations, we must always think big.”

This season Zaccagni, who has been with the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club since the Summer of 2014, has made 11 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, which totals just shy of 800 minutes, Zaccagni has scored two goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
