Inter Manager Antonio Conte Highlighted Lack Of Personality To Squad In Training Yesterday, Italian Media Reports

Inter manager Antonio Conte addressed his team in training yesterday and made it clear to them that they lacked personality in Wednesday night’s UEFA Champions League group stage draw with Shakhtar Donetsk according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

A lack of personality was Conte’s biggest criticism of his side yesterday, a day which he avoided trying to place a further dampener on the situation by speaking in length with the team following their disappointing elimination from the UEFA Champions League.

Conte limited himself in what he said to the team and highlighted the fact that the team are becoming repeat offenders in facing decisive moments with inadequate personality.

Inter were without Arturo Vidal who was brought in to improve the character of the team but the report from the Rome based news outlet highlights that Inter still had Romelu Lukaku and Ivan Perisic on the field but both the Belgian and Croatian disappointed in terms of attitude.
