Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is likely to remain on the bench in the Nerazzurri’s league clash against Cagliari tomorrow, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder suffered a slight muscle strain against Bologna last weekend, and was forced to miss the Champions League draw with Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this week.
Coach Antonio Conte hopes to have him on the bench for tomorrow’s game, but the real goal is to have him ready for the league clash against Napoli next week.
The midfield tomorrow will be the usual trio of Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Roberto Gagliardini.
In the wing back roles, on the right it’ll be either Achraf Hakimi or Matteo Darmian, and on the left the choice is between either Ivan Perisic or Darmian again. Up front alongside Romelu Lukaku will be either Alexis Sanchez or Lautaro Martinez.
