Inter will not face difficulties when trying to sell Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in January, despite rumours in England suggesting that aspects of the Growth Decree may cause issue, explains a report from Italian media outlet Calcio e Finanza earlier today.
The report details how the Nerazzurri have already set aside €11 million in a part of the June 30th 2020 budget called the ‘Provision for risks and charges’.
The fund is related to paying Inland Revenue fees as a result of a playing having to be sold who has benefitted from the Growth Decree.
The decree allows players to limit the income tax paid provided that they remain in Italy for two years after arrival, something that would no longer be the case for Christian Eriksen if he returned to the Premier League in January.
Because Inter have already set aside the €11 million, they do not need to worry about the eventual repayment.
