A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has rated the current form of the current top teams in Serie A.

The report details how, excluding Atalanta who are 12 points behind AC Milan, the teams currently competing in the Champions League and Europa League should be considered in the running for the Scudetto this campaign.

AC Milan, who have not lost a game so far this season in Serie A, have been given an 8.0 rating for their current form, as they sit four points ahead of second place Sassuolo.

The Neroverdi, whose win against Benevento yesterday put them ahead of Inter in the table, have received a 6.0 rating, with their recent performances being a little lackluster.

The same rating was given to Paulo Fonseca’s Roma, who deserved better results at earlier points in the season but did disappoint in their last two matches.

Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio received a 6.5 rating, noting how they haven’t shown their true nature yet, with inconsistency affecting their results domestically.

Juventus and Napoli are just ahead of the Biancocelesti with a 7.0 rating.

Finally, Inter, after an incredibly painful draw with Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this week, were given a 5.0 rating. A win is needed against Cagliari tomorrow to help the team bounce back after their exit from the Champions League.
