Inter manager Antonio Conte showed that he does in fact have a plan B in yesterday’s 3-1 away win over Cagliari according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

As per this report, Inter came from behind to win in Sardinia thanks to the Italian national team manager’s tactical flexibility as he ditched the three man backline that Inter started the match with in favour of a four man backline.

Conte changing tactics and leading the team to a win can be seen as him sending a message to the club, Tuttosport add.

The former Chelsea coach has granted his team a day of rest today and from tomorrow preparations for Wednesday’s Serie A match at home to Napoli will commence.

Achraf Hakimi and Alexis Sanchez are both doubtful to be available for the match against the Partenopei, who are just one point behind Inter in the Serie A table. Arturo Vidal should meanwhile make a return to action.
