Nicolo Barella was Inter’s star performer in yesterday’s 3-1 win away to Cagliari according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italian national team player got Inter back on level terms with their hosts yesterday with a fantastic volley and then set-up the second goal of the game. He has been rewarded with a rating of 7.5/10 for his efforts.

Danilo D’Ambrosio, the scorer of the second goal, was meanwhile Inter’s second best player with his performance earning him a rating of 7/10. Romelu Lukaku, who scored the third goal, and Stefano Sensi, both got 6.5 for their efforts in Sardinia at the Sardegna Arena yesterday afternoon.

Inter captain Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, Marcelo Brozovic, Alexis Sanchez, Lautaro Martinez and Ashley Young all got 6/10. Milan Skriniar, Achraf Hakimi and Christian Eriksen were all rated 5.5/10 and the worst performance on the day came from Ivan Perisic who got a rating of 5.
