Inter central midfielder Arturo Vidal wants to be available for the Serie A match at home to Spezia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Vidal hopes to be back in the Nerazzurri squad for the match at San Siro after having made progress in his recovery from the right thigh injury that he picked up in Inter’s recent match versus Bologna.
The Chilean national team player, who arrived at Inter on a two year contract in the Summer transfer window from Barcelona, is aiming to make it onto the bench.
If he fails to make it onto the bench for Napoli which is a foregone conclusion according to Inter coach Antonio Conte, he will return for Inter in this weekend’s Serie A match versus newly promoted Spezia.
The condition of Inter right wing-back Achraf Hakimi, who picked up a calf problem in this weekend’s 3-1 win over Cagliari, will meanwhile be evaluated ahead of the match against the Partenopei.
