Arkadiusz Milik has now realised that if he wants to play for Poland at next Summer’s European Championship’s, he must leave Napoli, according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Milik has been completely frozen out at Napoli and failure to find a club in January where he can get regular playing time would almost certainly cost him a call-up given he would have went a full year without playing which would leave him rather rusty and this is something that any coach cannot afford to deal with.

The former Ajax player would like to join a club where he can play regularly and not just sit on the bench. The report goes on to add that Napoli do not want to back down, especially after a deal worth €20 million that was agreed with Roma collapsed.

Inter are another club to have been heavily linked with Milik in recent weeks and months.
