Inter would not be opposed to a swap deal involving Christian Eriksen and Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Eriksen is one of four big name players who could leave Inter in the January transfer window with Radja Nainggolan, Matias Vecino and Andrea Pinamonti being the other three players.

The report from the Rome based news outlet explains that if Arsenal accepted an Eriksen and Xhaka exchange then Inter would not object as another target of theirs, Udinese’s Rodrigo de Paul, is difficult to buy.

Eriksen has had a nightmare 11 month spell with Inter and Arsenal are just one of several clubs to have been linked with potentially signing him with Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund among others all having been linked in recent weeks or months.

This season the 28-year-old Dane has made 12 appearances across all competitions to date but he has not scored or assisted any goals.
