Inter will be without Alexis Sanchez for the remainder of this year due to injury according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Sanchez had his condition examined by Inter’s medical staff and testing showed that he had sustained an injury to hi adductor muscle in his left thigh. Sanchez will miss the matches with Napoli, Spezia and Hellas Verona and everything suggests he will be able to return for the match versus Crotone on January 3.

The report goes on to add that Arturo Vidal has not been called-up for today’s match at home to Napoli due to not recovering from injury but he will be back for this weekend’s match against newly promoted Spezia.

Radja Nainggolan could meanwhile potentially make a return to the Nerazzurri squad for the match against Napoli, despite the fact he is not in top condition right now.

Andrea Pinamonti is also still out due to injury and the report gives no timeline for a return for him.
