Legendary Inter striker Ronaldo has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to share his delight at being included in the Balon d’Or dream team.
The former Brazilian national team striker has been named as the starting striker in the Balon d’Or dream team first team with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi either side of him in the attack.
Former Inter central midfielder Lothar Matthaus is also included in the dream team first team as are the likes of Pele and the late Diego Maradona.
He posted: “It’s such an honour to be elected the best centre forward of all time on the Dream Team by France Football. I gave my life for football and followed my dream. No matter the obstacle I faced and the pain I had to overcome I was always focused to get where I wanted: the TOP. How about You. Have you been chasing your dream?”
