Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella scored and assisted in a Serie A game for the first time in his career in Inter’s win over Cagliari this weekend Inter have highlighted with a post on photo sharing social media platform Instagram.

The Italian national team player started Inter’s comeback in Sardinia against his former employers with a fantastic volley and then set-up the second goal which was scored by Danilo D’Ambrosio.

This season he has scored one goal and provided five assists in 17 appearances.

Inter posted: “Goal and assist. For the first time in his career, Nicolo Barella both scored and provided an assist in the same game in Serie A.”
