Noted Italian football journalist and known Inter fan Fabrizio Biasin has taken to social media platform Twitter to sing the praises of Inter club captain and number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic for his performance in Inter’s win over Napoli.

The Slovenian shot-stopper had very little to do for the majority of the game but made three huge saves after the 70th minute, saves which ultimately helped Inter to record their fifth straight win in Serie A and fifth clean sheet across all competitions this term.

The veteran, who arrived at Inter from Udinese back in the Summer of 2012, has often come under fire for his performances this season and whilst Biasin believes he has been rightly criticised at times this term, he thinks that Handanovic was back at his best versus the Partenopei.

“These 3 points are due to Handanovic, who has recently received a flood of legitimate criticisms and today he was back to being Handanovic. Extra decisive,” Biasin posted to Twitter.

Thanks to the win over Napoli, Inter are now just one point off of top spot in Serie A after league leaders AC Milan surprisingly drew with Genoa.
