Inter club captain and number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was Inter’s star performer in last night’s narrow 1-0 win at home to Napoli according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The veteran Slovenian shot-stopper made three key saves during the second half which ultimately allowed Inter to come away with an all important three points and his contribution to the game has been recognised with a rating of 8/10.

The ever reliable Nicolo Barella was the second best former with the Italian national team player receiving a rating of 7/10. Matteo Darmian, who won Inter’s penalty, received a rating of 6.5, as did Inter manager Antonio Conte.

Milan Skriniar, Roberto Gagliardini, Ashley Young, Romelu Lukaku, Stefano Sensi and Achraf Hakimi all meanwhile received ratings of 6/10.

Stefan de Vrij, Lautaro Martinez and Alessandro Bastoni all got 5.5 whilst the worst performance of the night came from Marcelo Brozovic, who got 5/10.
