Lyon midfielder Thiago Mendes is on Inter’s radar according to a report from Spanish news outlet TodoFichahes.com.

Inter management are working on trimming down the squad and offloading unwanted players with one of these players being Radja Nainggolan, with everything indicating that he will make a return to Cagliari, who he spent last season on loan with.

At the same time, Inter’s management are also working on bringing in a replacement and it seems that they have found the right man in Mendes, who is under contract with Lyon until 2023.

Inter manager Antonio Conte appears to be the main man behind the idea of bringing Mendes to the Nerazzurri and the report from TodoFichajes.com concludes that Lyon would be willing to sell Mendes for a sum of €15 million.

This season the 28-year-old, who previously played for Lille, Sao Paulo and Goias, has made 10 appearances across all competitions to date but he has not made any goal contributions.
