Dominik Szoboszlai has completed a move from RB Salzburg to RB Leipzig the German Bundesliga have announced a short time ago via their official social media accounts.
The highly rated Hungarian national team midfielder drew links to some of Europe’s biggest clubs with Inter and AC Milan among clubs linked with signing him in reports. Premier League Arsenal were also linked with him.
Szoboszlai has opted to continue his career in Germany after a number of years in Austria and he has put pen to paper on a contract with RB Leipzig until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The 20-year-old has made 21 appearances across all competitions to date this term for RB Salzburg. In his time on the park, which has totalled just shy of 1600 minutes, Szoboszlai has scored nine goals and also tallied 10 assists.
RB Leipzig have confirmed that Szoboszlai has selected the number 17 shirt and he will be available for selection for their game versus Borussia Dortmund on January 9, 2021.
