Spezia centre back Martin Erlic has admitted that he is aware that he and his teammates have a very difficult game ahead of themselves this weekend.

The newly promoted Liguria based club are due to travel to Milan to take on Inter on Sunday afternoon in what looks set to be another trick test for Vincenzo Italiano’s side, who are currently sitting in 16th place with them having picked up 11 points from 12 games thus far.

“I must say that I feel good, I am happy with the performance, mine and the team, even if I am very sorry not to have been able to win the three points,” Erlic, who has made six appearances across all competitions to date this term, explained in an interview with Spezia’s official club website off the back of their 2-2 draw with Bologna yesterday night.

“A very difficult game awaits us on Sunday. Inter are a top team, now it will be important to recover and be ready.”

A recent report in the media has stated that Spezia will be without no less than eight players for Sunday’s clash against the Nerazzurri with Jeroen Zoet, Daniele Verde and Julian Chabot among those who are to miss out on the match at San Siro.
