Inter manager Antonio Conte has built a goal scoring machine this season with Inter having the best attack in Serie A thus far a repot in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter have scored 30 goals in 12 games this season in Serie A, which is more than two goals scored per game on average. They have three more goals than AC Milan and Roma who have the joint second best attack in the league.
Romelu Lukaku has been especially influential in Inter’s goal tally this term with him having netted 10 goals in the league already, which is the highest goal tally in Serie A alongside AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo.
Lukaku is one of only three players to have scored at least 10 goals in each of the last nine seasons in Europe’s top five leagues with the aforementioned Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski being the others.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to add that others will need to step up at Inter if the Nerazzurri are to be able to continue dreaming of winning the Serie A title, especially Lautaro Martinez. Fortunately for Inter though, defenders Achraf Hakimi and Danilo D’Ambrosio have both been scoring goals.
