Inter’s medical and coaching staff are trying to work out whether it will be possible for Stefano Sensi to play from the first minute in Sunday’s Serie A match at home to Spezia according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Sensi has not had much luck with injury since his arrival at the club in 2019 but the report states that the best version of Antonio Conte’s Inter was seen at the start of last season with Sensi in the side.

Sensi has come off of the bench in each of Inter’s last two games and this has coincided with Inter winning the matches against Cagliari and Napoli, which they were not winning before Sensi came on.

With Christian Eriksen increasingly out of favour, the report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that Sensi is the only player in the Inter squad with his characteristics and Inter now need to be able to have Sensi available more rather than just have him in small doses.
