Inter’s defensive trio of Alessandro Bastoni, Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar have conceded just two goals in their last 400 minutes or so on the pitch together in the league a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Including the final 16 minutes of the match against Torino when they all played together, the trio have let in just two goals in the last 402 minutes on the park together which works out at a goal every 201 minutes or just over one goal every two games.

This is significantly better than the rate that Inter were conceding goals at earlier on the campaign but despite the recent defensive solidity, the report from the Turin based news outlet explains that Conte could break up the trio of Bastoni, de Vrij and Skriniar on Sunday by resting at least one of them.

It is likely that there will also be rotation for the Coppa Italia match next month but the report concludes that injury, suspension and COVID-19 permitting, Inter’s defence will consist of Bastoni, de Vrij and Skriniar in every game with them playing in front of club captain Samir Handanovic.
