The match official appointments for the coming round of Serie A action have been announced with Michael Fabbri assigned to referee Inter’s match at home to newly promoted Spezia in the coming days.

The 37-year-old, who has been a referee since 2001 and a referee in Serie A since 2013, has refereed five games across all competitions to date this term, none of which have included either Sunday afternoon’s hosts or visitors.

Fabbri, who has been a FIFA referee since 2019, has dished out a total of 30 yellow cards in the matches that he has refereed thus far this campaign and has not brandished a single red card.

William Villa and Marco Scatragli have been appointed as Fabbri’s assistants for the match whilst Gianluca Aureliano will fulfil the fourth official duties. Paolo Valeri has been appointed to take charge of VAR at San Siro and he will be assisted by Pasquale De Meo.
