Simone Inzaghi is seriously considering leaving his post as Lazio manager at the end of this season according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.

Inzaghi’s contract with the Italian capital city club is due to expire at the end of this campaign and as per this report, he is considering leaving when his contract expires due to being criticised once again by Lazio president and owner Claudio Lotito.

Moreover, the report suggests that the possibility that Inter could employ him in the event of them parting ways with current manager Antonio Conte, could be behind him considering leaving Lazio.

The 44-year-old has been in charge of Lazio since 2016 and has led them to a single Coppa Italia win and two Supercoppa Italiania wins.

He has managed Lazio in 221 games across all competitions to date during his time in charge and has won 117 of these games.
