Both Fiorentina and Cagliari are interested in signing Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan in January, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are set to sell the 32-year-old Belgian midfielder in the upcoming winter transfer window, with the player clearly not appreciated by coach Antonio Conte.

He was close to a move to former home Cagliari in the summer transfer window, but a deal never materialised as the Nerazzurri were not looking to accept a loan deal.

Nainggolan is destined to leave in January, with the Rossoblu planning to make another assault to secure his signature.

Fiorentina are also interested in the former Roma man and have been working to convince him, although his positive experiences in Sardinia may convince him to return to Cagliari.

Nainggolan has made five appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 45 minutes.
